Issue 3 of Inspired Bride is set to be the last. Sadly, the small, independent publisher behind the magazine can no longer afford the massive costs associated with running a national newsstand magazine. Publishing is a cut-throat industry for the little guys for sure. It’s a real shame as I’ve received some excellent feedback for the title from my industry peers, it’s sold very well indeed and had actually been selected for Sainsbury’s stocking on the merit of it’s editorial content. Still, to quote the Neil Young song; “It’s better to burn out than fade away”. I’m proud to have been the editor of such an innovative, fresh title. Here are some spreads from the current issue, on sale at WH Smith and selected Independent retails until the end of June:
