I love a bit of tech writing and reviewing so it was a pleasure to do some more review work for T3.com. In this piece I highlight the best NAS drives (Network Attached Storage) on the market. These beauties do a lot more than store files like a traditional hard drive – they are a personal cloud service and media server. Take a look here.
I have had great hair in the run up to my maternity leave (Baby Sharpe is due very soon) – partly thanks to all the good pregnancy hormones and partly thanks to all the technology reviews I’ve been doing for T3.com! If you’re in the market for a new hairdryer, curler, straightening brush or, on the opposite end of the spectrum, a shaver – please do read my reviews – links below.
Which backpack will enhance, rather than hamper, your travels?
In this group test for T3.com, I ask which backpack will see you travelling with a grin rather than grimace on your face? Each bag I selected for our top five is fit for purpose, be that purpose a cycle commute, a week canyonning, a hike up Mount Snowdon or just a trip to your mum’s for the weekend… Read my reviews here.
When I reviewed the Canon IXUS 300 HS for T3.com last year I was disappointed with the low resolution of the LCD screen. Well, it looks like Canon has taken notes because the new IXUS 310 HS comes with a huge 3.2inch touchscreen LCD with an impressive 461,000 dot resolution. In my review of the stylish new IXUS 310 HS I find out what else Canon has improved for the new model… Head to www.t3.com to read my review.
I spent some of last week out in the Spring sunshine putting Panasonic’s new super tough Lumix FT3 camera through it’s paces at the beach. The 12.1 MP compact has a feature-set which should really appeal to adrenalin junkies and extreme sports types – it’s dustproof, waterproof to 12 meters, shockproof to 2 meters and freezproof to -10 degrees. There’s also full HD Movie recording and a great GPS function. Does it take good pictures though? Click here to read my review and find out…
