It’s no secret that I love animals and have a particular fondness for alpaca, so I was happy to receive a commission to head to Exmoor to meet one of the leaders in the field to fabric movement, and some very cute camelids too!
Made in Somerset with Love
Who doesn’t love shopping? I certainly do, especially when I’m looking for local products which are both luxurious and ethical. I had a blast writing this Valentine’s Day gift guide for Somerset Life magazine.
GIVE WILDLIFE A HELPING HAND THIS SUMMER
In this feature for the January 2016 issue of Somerset Life magazine I look at the ways people can use their gardens to help wildlife thrive in the coming year. Have a read and be inspired to plant bee and butterfly friendly plants and flowers, feed and water the birds, be a friend to amphibians and create a haven for hedgehogs! I love wildlife and have enjoyed creating a wildlife friendly space in my own city garden, so it was a pleasure to write this piece. Thanks to Somerset Wildlife Trust for their help.
Art for the Somerset Levels: Feature in Somerset Life Magazine
Maverick Somerset artist Harry Bunce, affectionately referred to as ‘Rural Banksy’ has created a mesmerising limited edition print to raise money for the Somerset Levels Relief Fund. In this feature for Somerset Life Magazine I visit his exhibition at Bristol’s Christmas Steps Gallery to find out more.
The Art of Conservation and Restoration feature published in Somerset Life Magazine

My first feature for the glossy regional title sees me interview Tim Everett from Everett Fine Art, who specialise in the restoration of oil paintings, and have done for more than fifty years, which has seen the company undertake an extraordinary variety and complexity of work. Take a look below.
