The New Wave of Wedding Photography – feature in Turning Pro Magazine
There’s been a shift in wedding photography recently, which sees photographers experimenting with composition, moving away from formal wedding shots to let their images tell a different story. For this feature, published in Turning Pro magazine, I spoke to four wedding photographers; Allister Freeman, Simon Gilbert, Helen Evans and Mark Carey, who are embracing this new style, taking their influences from contemporary art photography and reportage to see wedding photography in a new light.
