I spoke to three photographers: Kristian Leven, Georgi Mabee and Robert Lawler, and discovered various techniques to taking candid, natural shots of children at weddings which really capture the essence of the day. Each monthly I design a pet project for Dogs Monthly magazine, which involves making something, writing a how-to piece for readers to follow and taking photographs to illustrate the process. February’s project, making a warm and cosy no-sew dog blanket, has made it onto the cover. I’m especially pleased as my dog, Poppy, is modelling. On sale now.
